We are a privately owned hotel in Inverness which comprises of two river side properties located on the beautiful banks of the River Ness in the heart of Inverness, the capital City of the Highlands.

Situated along the beautiful banks of the River Ness, The Waterside offers a stunning wedding venue for Inverness. New for April 2007 – our wedding and function suite has had extensive refurbishment, which now boasts the most up-to-date fibre optic lighting & interactive sound system in Inverness. From a starry night scene to a rainbow of twinkling colours, our venue can certainly add the wow factor and personalise the surroundings to your requirements. We also offer the opportunity to project your special moments of the past, or indeed the wedding day itself via our large screen digital projector.

Aside from the venue, our wedding menus have been produced using locally sourced ingredients, and our selector menus gives you control to offer the perfect menu for your guests, who will receive friendly, attentive & professional service. We can supply table flowers and balloon decorations, this allows an element of creativity & uniqueness.

The Waterside can comfortably seat 140 day guests, who can also enjoy our refurbished bedrooms at a preferential rate if required. Inverness has seen a dramatic surge of interest in civil ceremonies, and The Waterside is registered for civil ceremonies as well as traditional ceremonies.
