Roundthorn Country House is the perfect venue for your special event or occasion-weddings, private dinners, celebrations and parties from 2 to 200 people in our air conditioned banqueting rooms, with beautifully landscaped gardens and stunning views.
The Roundthorn Country House is one of Cumbria’s premier wedding venues and is renowned locally for its expertise in Wedding Receptions.
The Cumbrian Suite can accommodate up to 150 guests for a Wedding Breakfast, and for the evening, up to 200 guests can be invited when they can join in the dancing, or enjoy a quieter drink in the Lounge Bar.
The Roundthorn is also licensed for Civil Marriages in the Eden and Eamont and Lowther Rooms, and the Cumbrian Suite, which are suitable for ceremonies from 10-100 people, offering a pleasant alternative to the Registry Office. We would be pleased to talk to you about your specific requirements, in conjunction with the Registrar, and put together a unique package for you special day, including the Ceremony, Wedding Breakfast, Reception drinks and Accommodation.
