We had an amazing wedding day at St.Audries Park Somerset, however this was inspite of country house weddings! The venue and grounds speake for themselves. Altough we found it a little empty and soules, so we filled it with photos of friends and family. You are forced to pay for everything in advance plus a £500 extras deposit, we were charged for items we did not ask for and are still waiting for our deposit to be returned. We also believe we did not receive everything we paid for. However the food we did receive was very good. The brides changing room is directly over the car park (a little unerving for the bride to hear everyone arriving!)We were told we would not have to worry about anything on the day. unfortunatly this was not true. My wife was left waiting for almost an hour before her belongings were brought to her after the church.
A couple of tips: close some of the rooms in the evening to stop people spreading to much- you will need a mic for the speaches- Stay at Catwell House B&B before your wedding, four poster beds and log fires.
