Modern in feel but Grade II listed and dating back to the 17th century, Silchester House’s five reception rooms and fourteen bedrooms make it a perfect house for entertaining. Supplemented, if needed, by its own beautiful traditional marquee neatly linked to the Ballroom, Silchester House is a perfect wedding venue.
The five reception rooms all open into each other and the garden and make Silchester House uniquely successful as a party venue. The evening is always a relaxed and informal House Party. Guests mix with ease as they decide to dance, get a drink, mingle and chat inside or outside admiring the 300 year old Cedar of Lebanon grandly dominating the garden.
