All apearance but DEFINATLEY NO SUBSTANCE.
After attending a wedding fair my daughter and her now husband decided to book New Hall for their ideal wedding.
From the receipt of deposit and confirmation of the date everything went wrong.
The “dedicated ceremony coordinators” turned out to be one overstretched and harrased young lady with very little training in the way of customer service and care.
In short what should have been a time of happy anticipation and planning for the perfect wedding at a lovely venue turned out to be a time of stress and upset for my daughter as she had little or no support in the way of planning and organisation from New Hall.
Guests turned up to find that rooms that were supposed to be reserved were not available, they had to be put up at a nearby Hotel.
The day of the wedding was the coordinators day off, so we were pretty much left to our own devices.
On complaining to head office, they apologised and offered a derisery, overnight stay and meal as compensation for ruining what should have been a day to remember.
Unfortunately it was a day to remember, but for all the wrong reasons.
