Adam’s mastery of form in his radical adaptation of this Culzean Castle, Maybole Castle (originally dating from 1590) has created a grand, impossibly romantic backdrop for modern events. Set in nearly 600 acres of beautiful countryside with woodland walks, inviting sandy beaches, terraced gardens and charming follies, this is a unique and inspirational setting for entertaining guests.
Grand and prestigious or intimate and relaxed – the options at Culzean are endless.
The breathtakingly beautiful red Circular Saloon, with views towards the Isle of Arran, can seat 70 guests for a ceremony or concert, followed by dinner in the surprisingly intimate State Dining Room. For a larger event, the Home Farm Restaurant can accommodate up to 100 guests for a banquet and ceilidh.
This air of exclusivity extends to the six-bedroomed Eisenhower Apartment on the top floor of the Castle, which can accommodate up to twelve guests in a private country house style and is the perfect location for a honeymoon or luxury executive retreat.
