A wedding or family celebration at Fairyhill is an intimate affair. We can arrange for up to thirty-two special guests to share your occasion in a choice of 3 dining rooms and if you, or your guests want to stay over, we can accommodate up to sixteen people in our 8 luxuriously appointed double bedrooms.

You’ll want the perfect backdrop for photographs. We’ve got 24 acres of magical parkland, not forgetting the stylish ambience of a Georgian mansion! Wedding Function Rooms
With a choice of wedding function rooms we ensure that wedding parties from 20 – 400 are equally well catered for. The Castle Suite is suitable for wedding parties up to 400 whilst the Morgannwg Suite is ideal for 200 and the Trecastell Suite is perfect for parties up to 300. The Hensol, Pendoylan and Dyffryn Suites are ideal for smaller weddings, providing a more intimate wedding setting.

-Castle Suite – Able to accommodate up to 400 guests for a lavish wedding breakfast. Doors open onto large tiled terrace with tranquil views overlooking the Lake golf course and the picturesque countryside.
-Morgannwg Suite – A very attractive wedding reception room with doors opening onto a terrace area and sweeping staircase that leads you to the stunning landscaped gardens and patio below.
-Trecastell Suite – A room with its own private entrance and bar facility allowing you to be totally secluded – if you so wish. The room can be transformed with the clever use of lighting to give a real fairytale setting.
-Cowbridge Lounge – Holding up to 80 people this room is just perfect for a civil wedding ceremony or an intimate wedding breakfast.
-Salamanza Bar & Conservatory – This champagne bar and conservatory is an idilic setting for your special day with seating for up to 60 guests affording superb views over the championship golf course.

Weddings at The Bear Hotel, Cowbridge

The Bear Hotel has origins as far back as the 12th Century. Probably best known as being the inn where they changed the horses on the mail run from Cardiff to Swansea. During the 18th Century Napoleon’s troops were held in the ‘Bear Pit’ en route to London after a failed invasion at Fishguard!! This famous Coaching Inn is steeped in history. Nowadays, the hotel is famed for it’s fine home cooked food, friendly atmosphere and really good ale.
