She, like so many other illustrious owners, fell in love with Leeds, and its care and conservation became her life’s work.

A choice of venues within the castle and its grounds combine to create the perfect setting for your wedding ceremony and celebrations. From your initial enquiry to the great day itself our service is tailored to meet your specific wishes and ensure that your wedding day is perfect.

The Library, Dining Room, Gatehouse and Maiden’s Tower are all licensed for civil marriage and partnership ceremonies. A choice of impressive settings is also available for your reception – from banquets in marquees on the lawns, to small intimate gatherings of family and friends in the castle.

Leeds Castle offers a host of finishing touches including musical entertainment and stunning flower arrangements prepared by the castle’s florist, along with wines and champagnes from the castle’s extensive Norman cellars. And when it comes to photographs, Leeds Castle, set in the valley of the River Len in the heart of the Garden of England, must be unrivalled for its spectacular scenery and backdrops.

Weddings at Stone Castle, Kent

Approved by Kent County Council as a venue for the solemnization of civil marriages, renewal of vows, civil partnerships and baby welcoming ceremonies.

Stone Castle is the ideal setting for your Kentish Wedding. The venue has a special kind of ambience perfect for the more intimate wedding or reception.

The ceremony takes place in either our Northwood Room or the Chapel Room, which is situated in the oldest part of the Castle. After the ceremony the Castle boasts three good sized function rooms for further celebrations. The choice of room is yours, dependent upon whether you require a full sit down wedding breakfast or the flexibility of a buffet style meal. All the rooms complement the same style and pleasant atmosphere throughout the building, all with windows overlooking landscaped gardens. Evening receptions catered for up to 150 guests. At Stone Castle we pride ourselves on providing a personalised service and to make your special celebrations a day to remember.

We are delighted that Civil Marriage ceremonies can be provided at London Golf Club. This offers the obvious benefit of organising your entire celebration at one venue.

Our Weddings Coordinator will process your ceremony booking form directly with the Registrar office. You can concentrate on other details as there is nothing more to do until the Registrar contacts you to arrange the necessary papers. Two registrars will preside on the day to guide you during the ceremony.

Weddings at Eastwell Manor, Ashford

Mood

A lordly pile that’s set in 60 acres of gardens, in the midst of a 3,000- acre estate of Kent park and farmland.

Accommodation

The family accommodation is in Eastwell Mews. This is a conversion of the Victorian stable block into 19 cottages and apartments with one, two or three bedrooms. Some look out over the countryside, others onto a courtyard. As well as use of the hotel facilities, each one also has a kitchen and eating area.

Refuelling

Posh meals in the hotel’s The Manor restaurant. Simpler fare, including children’s dishes, from the bar menu. For self-caterers, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and other shops in Ashford, are within five minutes’ drive. A brasserie with a separate children’s menu will open in the new leisure complex (see below).

Activities

An outdoor heated swimming pool, spa and all-weather tennis courts. An indoor leisure centre with swimming pool, gym and sauna is also due to open in February.
