Wedding Catering
The Lodge Restaurant is a beautiful dining area for you and your guests to use and it is free of charge for your guests for the entire evening.
All food is prepared by our Head Chef James Goodall who has worked under Chef Raymond Blanc and in prestigious establishments such as Le Manoir aux quat Saisons, Oxo Tower and Gaugains – Australia, consequently boasting a refined level of culinary finesse, reflected by the extensive and ever changing menu.
Wedding Reception Drinks
Our surrounding gardens provide the ideal setting for a drinks reception, perhaps accompanied by musicians, before dining. We have many bottled world beers and an extensive wine selection. Should the weather prove to be adverse, our restaurant with its elegant interior, and contemporary styled furniture provides a popular alternative to drinks and meeting place for all your guests.

Weddings at The Beech Hill Hotel, Windermere

Of all the events in life there is probably nothing more memorable and important than your wedding day. The Beech Hill provides all of the ingredients, adding individuality and charm to your special day. Our professional, caring staff are on hand at all times to make sure your big day is simply perfect.
Why not take a cruise on the Lake as an unusual extra to your day. Following your drinks reception and photographs, you will be taken down to the hotel’s private jetty where you can take a 1 hour cruise around the Lake. Cruises take place on board beautiful mahogany boats with brass fittings, that can carry up to 35 guests. Should your party be larger than this two cruises can be booked simultaneously.

You may take drinks on board the boats as there is no corkage charge though you will need to provide your own wine and plastic glasses (for safety reasons, glassware is not allowed on board) or you can choose wine from our wine list and we will provide the plastic glasses and a waiter for service on board.

Weddings – Breakfast
On your wedding day everything must be perfect and we can provide a wedding breakfast that is just that, a meal that your guests will talk about for years to come. Your meal will be served in our newly refurbished restaurant overlooking the Lake. We provide table plans and personalised menu cards, cake stand and a commemorative cake knife for you to take home.

Weddings – Evening Reception
Your evening reception also takes place in our beautiful restaurant and offers a private bar, dance floor and staging if required. We will be pleased to assist in booking any entertainment on your behalf and can provide sample CD’s for all singers and bands.

the Lodore Falls Hotel is ideal and can accommodate up to 130 people. A buffet for a minimum number of guests must be taken.

The Civil Ceremony
To gather family and close friends together for a civil wedding ceremony is a less formal way ­ yet a unique experience for everybody involved in celebrating the marriage promise between two people.

An ‘Out of Season’ Wedding
All seasons are special in the Lake District ­ in the Autumn when the colours change to golden orange, in the Winter when the mountain tops are covered in snow, in the Spring when the daffodils and bluebells cover the ground or in the Summer when long evenings can be enjoyed al fresco. However, as many of our weddings are on a Saturday during the Summer, we can now offer you a special rate if you can arrange your wedding midweek (Sunday to Thursday) or out
