Arties Mill Lodge is a delightful old windmill originally constructed circa 1790. This classic Mill is located just 1.7 km (1-mile) from the charming town of Brigg, which has a vibrant history of excellent markets and fairs.

The town of Brigg first developed as a crossing point at the river Ancholme, taking the name from a bridge built to make east-west journeys more convenient and accessible.

Its historic sails have been unfortunately dismantled, but thankfully the mill owners have successfully preserved a great number of interesting features of this charming old building.

The Mill’s classic interior and the adjacent grain sheds have been beautifully converted into restaurants, bars and function rooms.
